B&B "Fratello Sole" was opened around 2000 and it is amongst the first B&B in Spello, if not the first one. Experience, excellent customer service, kindness are characteristics which have been appreciated for many years by our guests who feel at home in our B&B.
Our B&B "Fratello Sole" is located in the heart of Spello, an enchanting village in Umbria which comes from Roman heritage. From our excellent location where you can take a pleasent stroll through the village, which is laden with beautiful spots adorned with flowers boasting breath-taking panoramic views, as well as visit Spello's numerous churches, among them Santa Maria Maggiore, which houses the wonderful frescos of Pinturicchio, Properzio's Towers, as well as mosaics and remains of Roman ancient houses, etc.
In addition, for those who love nature, from our B&B you can immediately reach footpaths through Monte Subasio surrounded by nature, you can relax taking a stroll towards the beautiful town of Assisi and walking through the Roman acqueduct track between the olive trees up to Collepino; a very small village few kilometers away from Spello.
Our B&B "Fratello Sole" is located in the heart of Umbria, in a very strategic location which allows you to reach, in a short period of time, other towns full of history, such as: Assisi, Montefalco, Gubbio, Bevagna, Spoleto, Orvieto, Perugia, etc.
Spello is famous for the Infiorata Festival, an event which takes place on Corpus Domini day. At night, through the streets of the village, wonderful artistic carpets of flowers representing religion-related themes are skilfully prepared. It is an extraordinary colorful event!
